Agricultural investments are increasingly central to global efforts around food security, climate resilience, and economic development. At the same time, these investments raise complex challenges related to land rights, environmental impact, and community outcomes that organizations must be equipped to navigate.
CCSI’s Executive Training on Sustainable Investments in Agriculture is a practical, interdisciplinary program designed to help professionals build the knowledge and capabilities needed to address these challenges. Drawing on expertise from Columbia University and leading global practitioners, the training connects policy, legal frameworks, and investment strategies to real-world decision-making.
Through a combination of live, interactive sessions and self-paced materials, you will develop both technical understanding and applied skills, with a focus on implementation through case studies, expert insights, and peer exchange.

Course Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this training. However, participants will benefit from prior professional experience or familiarity with topics related to agricultural investment, land governance, sustainability, or rural development.
This interdisciplinary program is for mid-level public officials and civil society representatives from low- and middle-income countries working on investment, agriculture, land, or rural development.
Please Note: Select participants from development agencies, foundations, intergovernmental organizations, UN agencies, and the private sector may also be admitted.
