The United Nations is a global intergovernmental organization with broad missions in peacekeeping, sustainable development, international relations, amongst other important tasks. In this workshop, Joseph A. Torres-González (Spring 2026 Ask A Librarian Intern, PhD Candidate in Anthropology, CUNY Graduate Center, and Adjunct Lecturer at Lehman College, CUNY) and Ben Chiewphasa (Social Sciences & Policy Librarian, Columbia University Libraries) will present a revised and updated resource guide that contains a selection of items in our collections about, on, and from the United Nations. Databases, primary sources, statistical sources, and newspapers are amongst the various resources we will be sharing with participants. Students, Faculty, Alumni, and Community members interested in the resources are welcomed to join this virtual workshop.
