SnapGene molecular biology software overview with Q&A (webinar)

Evan Starr, PhD, a Field Application Scientist from SnapGene, will be presenting a one-hour overview demonstration on SnapGene. SnapGene offers a fast and easy way to plan, visualize, and document cloning procedures. We will briefly introduce using SnapGene, navigating the new interface, annotating sequences, simulating cloning operations and agarose gels, and end with a Q&A session.

CUIT manages Columbia's multi-seat, standard license for SnapGene, allowing any Columbia researcher (CU or CUIMC) to purchase the software at a cost of approximately $100/license/year. SnapGene also integrates with LabArchives for easy sharing and unlimited file storage.
